For personal use I ordered from PT United, however we have an account with performance health and their options are APS Dry Needle (brand Agupunt), Energy Dry Needles (Brand JiaJian) and Myotech. Has anyone heard of these or used these before? They do not have reviews on performance health and when visited independently, of course they all seem "great". Thanks

I have used the Myotech needles. They are effective when needling with electric stimulation. The handles are metal so you don't have to back the needle out when connecting the alligator clips. I find the Myotech needles are a little more difficult to set and they drag when you insert them. When I have been needled with them, the sensation they create is more obvious and uncomfortable then the Seirin needles.

Seirin J-type needles have the plastic handles, however, they do make an L-type where the handle is metal which is nice for ENS. Unfortunately, those L-type are packaged in the tube with the tabs rather than glue like the J-type. You can also purchase a L-type 60 mm length for deeper needling where the J-type caps out at 50 mm length.

I’ve had a course participant use the asp needles and he seemed to like them. Serins are still my favorite. I use DBC often as well.

Thanks everyone for the posts. We are going to be using a combination of Serin and Myotech (when paired with stim). I agree with the earlier post about the smoothness of the insertion is a little different between brands and prefer the Serin.
