I have a potential patient who has not run in 10 yrs secondary to hammer toe. She just switched her activity to cycling and pickleball without pain and did change her shoes. She is not in pain right now, but is starting to get it on the opposite side. Pt wants to know if we can help decrease the severity of the condition? Wanted to see what peoples' success has been with treating Hammer/Mallet toe since it is a shortening of tendons and ligaments. If so what specifics were you needling? Thank you.
