I have a patient currently that I see for cervical/TMJ dysfunction. Needling to her head/neck/jaw has been effective, but I'm wondering if I can up the intensity by adding estim - especially to her jaw? We have used it in the cervical region, but I'd like to expand it to the jaw if possible. I've seen some photos of stim connected to TMJ needles, but wondering what settings you would use, what precautions to be aware of in the face, or anything else of importance to note when it comes to facial/TMJ DN with estim? Thanks!
